Visit to Union Farm
The children in 3KT were very lucky to be offered the chance to visit a farm. We were able to see how local farmers support their communities by rearing and selling their produce locally. This linked with our recent work on food miles and eating seasonally. The children were able to ask the farmer questions and see for themselves where their food is produced. We were able to try some sausages made from Union Farm pork, and some honey produced by bees kept on the farm.

Natural History Museum Trip
The children in Year Three really enjoyed our trip to the Natural History Museum to learn more about dinosaurs. Here are a few pictures from our day.
Yesterday (Thursday 11th November), Year 3 learnt about the meaning behind Remembrance Day. We retrieved facts from a text and then completed a craft activity. These were used to create a display. We are very proud of our work and think the display looks fabulous.
